eyeSo, Brainclaw’s collaboration with Stephen Wilkins of LV426 is complete. We present to you “We Are Random.” Music by Stephen Wilkins of LV426 and lyrics, vocals and arrangement by Brainclaw.

This was a TON of fun to do, and it is quite possible it will happen again in the future!

Stay tuned, Clawlings.

deceptorproto2 With the folding of the UK-based Juggernaut label back around Christmas (amazingly, right before the release of DECEPTOR), we found ourselves back at the drawing board, so to speak. DECEPTOR desperately wants to get released, but it seems that the Universe doesn’t think it is time yet.

The album has been completed for nearly a year, and we have been promising it for some time. We here at the Brainclaw Enclave are considering several other methods of release, but we want to get the best and widest distribution possible, and a label can often achieve that, where a self-release usually can’t.

That being said, we currently have interest from two labels, and are busy exploring these options. Rest assured that this album WILL come out, one way or another. As we snake through the chaos that is the modern music “industry,” we will keep you up to date as much as possible.

We are all eager to get this released, as writing of new material has been going on for some time! Closing this chapter/trilogy of the Brainclaw saga will be good for everyone. Stay tuned for more details as they become available, and as always, thanks for your undying support through all of this turbulence.

Your continued interest and emails astound us… – David

juggernaut_music_group_logoDearest Brainclaw Fans, (Clawlings!)

You have waited patiently throughout the last few years for the release of DECEPTOR, the new Brainclaw album. Through many unforeseen circumstances, the release has been delayed many times. It seemed that the universe didn’t want it to see the light of day…

However, THIS audio virus cannot be stopped, and WILL continue to spread!

We here at the Brainclaw Enclave are terribly pleased to announce that Brainclaw has officially joined forces with Juggernaut Music Group In Great Britain! We have just inked a deal with Juggernaut to release DECEPTOR by Christmas of 2014.

Juggernaut works with many famous electronic music acts, and Brainclaw is now joining their impressive roster. They are a UK based label bringing together the worlds of EBM, Synthpop and Industrial. DECEPTOR will have worldwide digital and physical distribution, and the CD will be available through Juggernaut, and Poponaut in Germany.

This is an amazing time for Brainclaw, as our reach has never been worldwide before, and many interesting things will be happening from now on!

Stay tuned, my friends, and thank you for being so patient and loyal!

Back in May of 2007, Brainclaw were approached by Japanese cyberpunk/spoken word author Kenji Siratori to collaborate on a spoken word song project called PIG.

Kenji supplied us with his trademark bizzare, Burroughs-styled spoken word poetry in Japanese, and we created a Brainclaw song around it.

The result was REGENERATOR P.I.G.

This strange mashup collaboration was up for and succeeded in being chosen to be the music for the Diehard 4: Live Free Or Die Hard movie trailer in Japan.

To the total honor of Brainclaw, Kenji went on to name one of his performance exhibitions Regeneratior P.I.G. as well.

As a band that is completely in love with Japan and Japanese culture, this was a great way to come full circle.

Enjoy this bit of sonic strangeness from Brainclaw and their brother from across the Pacific…

To generate excitement for the upcoming release of the new Brainclaw album DECEPTOR, let’s take a trip down Brainclaw Memory Lane…

Here is Brainclaw’s cover of the Tears For Fears classic “Mad World from back in the day, circa early 2005…

We will be posting rare and forgotten Brainclaw tracks over the coming weeks with regularity to get things warmed up for the new release, and to let folks get a listen to older things that may have escaped their notice the first time around.

Enjoy, and stay tuned for more!

(You may hear things that have NEVER seen the light of day before!)

It now looks like the new release will contain at least ten brand-new tracks, with a bonus of at least five remixes, some by Brainclaw, and some by distinguished artists, tentatively including Cesium 137, Dedman and John Ruszin of Collinwood13, ex-Carfax Abbey and Single Bullet Theory.

It is shaping up to be a big album, recorded and mastered in high resolution for superior sound. John Ruszin, also live guitarist for Brainclaw, is lending his talents in recording guitar tracks for this new collection of songs. Be prepared for a meaner, heavier Brainclaw!

It is uncertain at this time if the album will see label release or will be released independently. There is currently some label interest, and time will tell what manner of distribution this will be. We do know that CDs will be pressed, with the possibility of some limited edition deluxe editions. Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available…
